According to a Chinese Weibo blogger’s post on July 27, Xiaomi is developing high-end tablets that will feature the Snapdragon 8 chipset.

The blogger also shared information about the Redmi Pad and Xiaomi’s Mi Pad 6. Neither the Redmi K50S with the Dimensity 8100 chip nor the Chinese version of the entry-level Redmi Pad has network access certificates. Xiaomi‘s Mi Pad 6 is said to feature the Dimensity 8100 and Snapdragon 8, and plans for a larger size, but are yet to be decided.

Earlier, tipsters showed that Xiaomi was working on another size of tablet, available in 10.4 inches, 12.6 inches and 14 inches in addition to the 11-inch screen. The bigger the screen is, the more expensive the tablet will be.

Redmi’s first tablet finds its strength in its audio-visual experience. It features an 11-inch 2K LCD full screen, MediaTek’s Kompanio processor, and matrix camera on the rearside.

Xiaomi’s Mi Pad 6 will be available in at least two versions. The entry model features a 2.5K 120Hz display with a Snapdragon 870 processor, while the premium version comes with a Snapdragon 888 processor and supports up to 67W fast charging. The Mi Pad 6 will have a larger screen, new molds and a new design. It has been certified by the EEC, and the model number of this device is 22081283G. It is expected to be released around August this year.
